SAP partner 4most opens permanent office in Botswana to serve growing market

Johannesburg, 06 May 2011

The SAP Business One software specialist in the Logic Group, 4most, has opened a permanent office in Gaborone to service the growing market for affordable mid-market accounting and financial software solutions in Botswana.

“We are looking to expand our customer base and see the SADC area as a key region for growth alongside East and West Africa,” said 4most managing director Eugene Olivier.

“To establish a platform for expansion we now have two highly experienced SAP Business One system implementers and consultants permanently based in Gaborone.” Olivier added that 4most Botswana will receive direct support from 4most South Africa, where the operation boasts many years of experience with SAP Business One software.

“We are a Gold Certified SAP partner and have a longstanding relationship with SAP Business One. We have built up considerable knowledge in this arena and we know what it takes to meet the strict criteria laid down by SAP in the application of its financial software solutions. Our major goal is to deliver tailor-made, innovative solutions that give competitive advantage to businesses across a wide range of commerce and industry.”

The 4most operation in Botswana will focus on areas where it has considerable expertise such as job costing and a range of manufacturing and sales and distribution operations. “We also have a depth of hands-on experience in base metals, fabricated metal products, machinery, equipment, clothing and apparel,” said Olivier.

Pankaj Pema, Head of Business One Africa, SAP South Africa, added: “We are excited about the expansion of 4most into Botswana, as this compliments our SADC growth strategy for small businesses. We are confident that through this partnership, we will continue to add value and support to the growing small business market in Africa.”

Unlike many other small business solutions available on the market today that are complex and disconnected, SAP Business One works on a single application that integrates all core business functions across the entire organisation - irrespective of size.
