More information about the Kaseya Connect Africa 2011 executive forum, which takes place on 7 June at The Forum in Bryanston, is available online here.

The company, will deliver in-depth workshops in Johannesburg and Cape Town to demonstrate its new tools.

The events, under the collective name Kaseya Connect Africa 2011, will be run in partnership with ITWeb and modelled on the hugely popular Kaseya Connect user conferences staged annually in the US.

International CEO Gerald Blackie and president Mark Sutherland will fly to SA to outline their views on international trends shaping IT, and how these have impacted on the development of Kaseya's newest solutions.

Among the key trends that have strongly influenced its new product development are cloud computing and enterprise mobility.

Kaseya's regional manager for Africa, Garth Hayward, said recently that local interest in cloud computing had been highlighted by rapid adoption of Kaseya's new cloud software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform in SA.

This SaaS platform has seen uptake roughly 200% higher than expected since its release in SA three months ago.

“The resultant interest and sign-up levels have been staggering and supports our decision to host our Kaseya ITSM cloud platform right here in SA for Africa,” said Hayward.

During next month's user forum, local power users will get a taste of the sort of hands-on exposure their overseas counterparts get to Kaseya's latest systems management tools. These in-depth workshop sessions, headed by Kaseya's experts, will focus on the company's newest mobile management, service desk timesheets and billing, and backup, disaster recovery and end point security solutions.
