Charl van der WaltCharl van der Walt is a founder member of SensePost. He studied Computer Science at UNISA, Mathematics at the University of Heidelberg in Germany and has a Diploma in Information Security from the Rand Afrikaans University. He is an accredited BS7799 Lead Auditor with the British Institute of Standards in London. Charl has a number of years experience in Information Security and has been involved in a number of prestigious security projects in Africa, Asia and Europe. He is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences nationwide and is regularly published on internationally recognized forums like ITWeb’s IT Security Summit.

Dominic WhiteDominic White is current a security consultant working for SensePost. He was previously a manager in the Deloitte Security & Privacy group in South Africa. Previously, Dominic graduated from Rhodes University with a Masters degree in Computer Science, specialising in information security.

Tony OlivierTony Olivier, founder and host of the IT Security Pubcast is one of South Africa’s most respected information security practitioners, Tony is a strategic thinker who has a fascination with people and how society works.

Jon helped launch the US brand TechTarget in South Africa in 2008.

Kirsten DoyleKirsten Doyle, ITWeb editor, sections & newsletters.
Kirsten Doyle started her career in IT journalism in 1999. She is the managing editor of ITWeb's sections and newsletters. In this role she is responsible for content across ITWeb's 60 niche news sections and 20 niche newsletters. One of her key focus areas is IT security,

Samantha PerrySamantha Perry, Editor, Brainstorm ITWeb.
Samantha Perry is the Editor of Brainstorm, ITWeb’s monthly publication for the ICT industry. Prior to working for Brainstorm she has, variously, done two stints as a freelancer, headed up Computing SA for a few years, and done work for the likes of BMI-T, CRN, Computerweek and The CRF. She has been covering ICT for over ten years.

Paul FurberPaul Furber, Group Senior Writer, ITWeb.
Paul Furber has been an IT journalist since the early 90s. He has edited channel and telecoms publications, freelanced for most of the South African IT and business press, and developed enterprise-class software systems in between. He is currently ITWeb's group senior writer and has a particular interest in IT security and forensics.
