NetXactics Communications has signed a partnership agreement with Fiberlink, a leader in software as a service (SaaS) solutions for secure enterprise mobile device and application management.
NetXactics will distribute and support Fiberlink's MaaS360 solution across Africa.
“Maas360 manages and secures over a million devices at enterprises around the world, and fits in perfectly with our vision to offer our clients a growing complement of recognised international products,” says Brett Myroff, CEO of NetXactics.
MaaS360 is a cloud-based platform that addresses the need for organisations to manage, control and secure an expanding suite of mobile operating systems, including iOS, Android, Windows Phone, and BlackBerry. “The solution offers comprehensive, multi-platform support, instant availability without infrastructure changes, an easy to use intuitive design as well as comprehensive visibility and reporting,” Myroff adds.
“This ensures operational efficiencies, reduced support costs and an enhanced overall mobile experience for employees. IT can further apply central policy management and monitor compliance for smartphones, tablets and laptops all from one system.”
“We are very excited to partner with NetXactics and provide customers in Africa with the most comprehensive set of capabilities to manage and secure their mobile environment,” says Neil Florio, vice-president of marketing at Fiberlink. “NetXactics's focus on customer service and expertise in delivering security solutions combined with MaaS360's true cloud-based approach will create more value for our customers as they embrace employee use of consumer devices.”
Fiberlink partners are certified via the company's MaaSters Partner Programme, which ensures training and ongoing support on its range of mobile device and application management solutions. NetXactics has fulfilled all requirements to be appointed as a master distributor for MaaS360 in the region.
“We are seeing increasing demand locally for solutions that give organisations the necessary control and security over the proliferation of iPhones, Android devices and tablets,” says Myroff. “We believe MaaS360 fulfils this requirement through its ease of implementation and use, while providing the backing of an established international brand.”
