HotLink intros channel programme

Virtualisation management start-up Hotlink is a VMware partner that launched its first product at VMworld last year, yet the company's goal is to help customers use non-VMware hypervisors, CRN writes.

HotLink introduced a channel programme around its flagship SuperVisor product, which allows VMware vCenter to natively support hypervisors from Microsoft, Citrix and Red Hat.

EON says HotLink VARs with existing virtualisation practices will now be able to offer high-value virtualisation engagements that differentiate their business while enabling customers to significantly reduce virtual infrastructure costs, increase agility and eliminate vendor lock-in.

The new HotLink VAR Programme provides opportunities for value-added resellers focused on virtualisation technologies to enhance their offerings with HotLink's flagship product, HotLink SuperVISOR for VMware, an enterprise-class, fully automated platform for server deployments spanning all major virtual infrastructures.

The rapid adoption of server virtualisation generates a sizable market demand for knowledgeable and experienced partners to provide the technical skills to plan, implement and expand these deployments, Virtual Strategy Magazine notes.

“Our North America VAR Programme is an exciting next step for HotLink as we extend our heterogeneous virtualisation expertise and sizable business opportunity to our new partners through a best-in-class, highly lucrative VAR programme,” said Lynn LeBlanc, CEO and founder of HotLink.
