The Motorola Defy+ is now available in SA. The handset features a water-resistant, scratch-resistant and dust-proof design.
Running Android 2.3 and featuring a 1GHz processor, the Defy+ is claimed to be 25% faster than its predecessor, the Motorola Defy. The handset has a 3.7-inch touch-screen display, 2GB internal storage and a 2GB microSD - expandable to 32GB.
“Motorola Defy+ can survive a sudden rain shower, a day on the beach, an all-night party - or even a tough workout,” says Motorola, adding that the handset comes with the CardioTrainer application pre-loaded.
The Defy+ has a 5MP camera with flash, and features the Motorola Media Link, which allows for the syncing of content between devices.
Motorola says there is a suite of “smart accessories” available for the Defy+, including a vehicle dock, Bluetooth headset, Bluetooth Car Kit and car charger.
The Motorola Defy+ is available from Nashua Mobile and 8ta for the recommended retail price of R2 899. The handset is also available on contract.
