Daptiv boosts customer numbers

Daptiv, the on-demand provider of project portfolio management software, revealed that new customer bookings for the first half of 2012 were up 42% compared to the same period last year, and to meet growing demand, Daptiv is actively recruiting for positions in software development, sales, support and professional services, Equities reports.

Building on this momentum, Gartner positioned Daptiv as a "Leader" in the Gartner PPM Magic Quadrant for Cloud-Based Project and Portfolio Management Services, a new research report covering PPM software as a service applications.

According to Broadcast Newsroom, Daptiv has experienced unprecedented demand for its SaaS-based PPM solutions based on the simplicity and affordability of the software.

In the second quarter, AMC Networks, Charter Manufacturing, Pivotal Payments, Seibels Services Group and WhiteWave Foods were a few of the new clients that selected Daptiv PPM to manage their project portfolios.

Daptiv also announced the opening of a data centre, located in the Netherlands, to accommodate customer demand in Europe, Business Review Australia states.

The first customer of the new data centre will be the Telecom and Integrated Applications (TIA) directorate of the European Space Agency (ESA), which recently expanded its Daptiv PPM subscription.
