NetApp Insight 2012 kicked off in Dublin this morning. The conference's general sessions will provide keynote addresses from NetApp and industry luminaries on the enterprise marketplace, and offer insight into the company's current and future innovations.

There will be more than 200 breakout sessions running throughout the event, covering a comprehensive range of solution areas, case studies, best practices, tools and innovations.

The sessions will be divided into several tracks, and then categorised by solution, level of expertise and lifestyle focus.

According to NetApp, the conference is the premier storage specialist event of the year, and aims at providing attendees with technical topics and the chance to interact with product and engineering experts.

This year's event is particularly special, as it marks the company's 20th anniversary.

"The information, networking opportunities and high-level training offered at NetApp Insight ultimately serve as an interactive and engaging forum to gain knowledge and ideas that will educate, motivate and evolve thinking at any organisation," says the company.

The programme features over 250 hours of technical breakout sessions and hands-on labs, and offers opportunities for delegates to discover a comprehensive range of industry tools and innovative ideas.

In addition, attendees will have access to NetApp product roadmaps, a first look at next-generation solutions, as well as specialised tracks that cater to reselling, distribution and integrator partners.

"Delegates will have the opportunity to network and connect with peers, alliance partners and NetApp Technical Leadership, and will also have access to NetAppU onsite certification exams, normally charged at $150 per test, free of charge."
