Social, mobile, cloud: What matters most

Johannesburg, 16 Nov 2012

As we wrap up a week of Google and technology events, Grove Group, a Google Enterprise Partner, is due to hold its last event in Cape Town for this year. Over the past six months, Grove has successfully hosted a number of events around the topics of cloud computing, mobile and social business, and as a consequence of its overwhelming popularity, Grove, together with Google, will host one last session in Cape Town for this year.

The event takes place at the Waterfront, in Cape Town, on Friday, 16 November, and is titled "Social, Mobile and Cloud, what matters most" and examines how the forces of mobile, social, cloud and information are converging and driving new business scenarios. The event will showcase presentations from industry experts including Kim Andersen (CXO Advisor), Chris Rolfe (CEO Mobilitrix), Johann De Wet (Grove Group) and Google executive Jonathan Sorum (Google Enterprise Dublin), who will share key insights from companies about their digital journeys. Cloud and social business, Google's vision for the future and why Google+ is a more important part of business than ever before, are just some of the topics that will be covered during this session. In addition to the events in Cape Town, Grove will be hosting similar events in Johannesburg and London.

Grove's vision is about supporting companies on their journey to the cloud, helping organisations in the formulation of their cloud and social strategies and the subsequent implementation thereof. Grove will also be holding 'Social Media - Google+' workshops over the next few months. To find out more about these workshops or any of the events, please visit the events page on the company's Web site or contact marketing@groveis.com.
