Internet Solutions (IS) held its first ever Channel Partner Awards in Greenstone last Thursday, in recognition of its top-performing channel partners for the 2012 financial year.
Awards were allocated in a number of categories, including top partner in the Eastern Cape, the Western Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng; fastest growing partner in those regions; fastest growing partner of the year; and national partner of the year.
Stratosat was the night's big winner, picking up the awards for carrier partner of the year, partner of the year in Gauteng, and overall partner of the year.
Partner of the year for KwaZulu-Natal went to SAI - which also picked up the award for connectivity partner of the year - while Imaginet took the award in the Eastern Cape, and RSAWEB in the Western Cape.
BVS Telecoms walked away with the award for communications partner of the year, and eNetworks for cloud partner of the year. Wholesaler of the year went to Vox Telecom.
The award for fastest growing partner of the year went to Quantum Leap IT, which also took the regional award for Gauteng.
Finally, the awards for the fastest growing partners of the year in the different regions went to XP Technologies in KwaZulu-Natal, eTime in the Eastern Cape, and International Venture Consulting in the Western Cape.
