Telkom Business has unveiled a range of new mobile plans that the company says aim to help businesses of all sizes improve productivity and reduce communication costs.

Centred on what Telkom is positioning as the plans' differentiating feature of unlimited on-net calls, the offering also includes unlimited calls to one landline, unlimited access to a nationwide network of WiFi hotspots, and unlimited SMS on selected contracts.

The new plans follow Telkom's recent unveiling of an unlimited all-net tariff, which gives customers unlimited calls to any network, any time, for R1 199 per month.

Megan Nicholas, acting managing executive for mobile solutions at Telkom Business, says the new plans were designed bearing in mind the need within business for colleagues and customers to constantly be connected. "Businesses can now talk and message as much as they want, without fear of additional cost."

The plans, she says, are in line with Telkom Business' strategy to "disrupt the mobile voice market and bring high-quality, unique and affordable communications solutions to businesses".

The company claims it has increased its mobile customer base by over 200% in the past year, due to disruptive voice and data offerings.

"Telkom Business plans to launch several more disruptive mobile products over the coming months, including converged services that will add even more value to South African businesses."
