ContinuitySA updates its Complete Continuity Practitioner Programme to include ISO22301 standard

Johannesburg, 20 Jun 2013

ContinuitySA, Africa's largest business continuity service provider, has updated its in-depth Complete Continuity Practitioner Programme to include recent standards changes and best-practice guidelines.

"With the recent launch of the International Standard Organisation 22301, the first standard for business continuity management, it is important to develop an organisation's resilience in compliance with the ISO standard. By complying with the standard, organisations demonstrate their reliability as a business partner or a service provider across their entire business chain," says Tracey Linnell, GM Advisory Services at ContinuitySA.

With this in mind, ContinuitySA's five-day course has been updated to include details of the new standard, ISO22301, and how that impacts BC management and execution. In addition, the company has added in changes to the recently updated good practice guidelines.

The Complete Continuity Practitioner Programme covers all components of business continuity management in detail, and includes case studies and practical classroom exercises. This programme is ideal for persons tasked with the hands-on implementation of BCM within their organisations.

The next course will be held from 22-26 July 2013 at ContinuitySA's offices in Randburg.
