Insurance company Mutual & Federal has added claims registration to its Web site, www.mf.co.za.
The facility works through a smart form which can be filled in and submitted from the claims section of the Web site.
Alternatively, hard copy forms can be printed off the Net page for personal, household and automotive insurance. Users can then fill in the form and fax it. The Mutual & Federal site provides a list of branches and fax numbers, and users select the nearest branch.
Supply management is another area of focus, according to the company. Lists of suppliers from the Mutual & Federal panel could soon appear on the site, and will enable policyholders with specific problems, such as a burst geyser, to contact M&F suppliers.
