Upside Learning makes Deloitte list

Upside Learning has been ranked 16th in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 India 2008 programme, and 125th in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific 2008 programme, says PR.com.

These programmes recognise the fastest growing technology companies in India and the Asia Pacific region respectively on the basis of their percentage revenue growth over the past three years.

Upside Learning content solutions director Amit Garg is ecstatic the company was included in the list.

Car repair game teaches students

Multiple US colleges have begun integrating Argo's e-learning education and training programme for automotive technicians, reports Search Autoparts.

Argo provides an online learning environment where students learn by virtually working on a car in 3D interactive simulations, such as using virtual tools, for diagnosis and repair.

“As soon as I saw Argo in action I knew I had to have this for my students. Argo will let students study and train independently, at a pace and rhythm that suits them, skipping items they already know and paying additional attention to subjects they find more difficult," says Harlan Wrenn, assistant professor of diesel technology at Southside Virginia Community College.
