The Corporate Governance Body of Knowledge can now be used in a portal application, making the Body of Knowledge functional across all employee and enterprise-wide levels.
Terry Booysen, CEO of the Corporate Governance Framework (CGF) Research Institute, describes it as an "integrated knowledge bank" for governance, risk and compliance. "We tried to make it as simple as possible."
The portal provides access to all the monthly reports by CGF, which are displayed in PowerPoint form, he notes.
It also contains an acronym list, which explains each acronym contained in the reports, and a library, which lists each book used for reference and those that are relevant to the subjects discussed.
He says it uses the Vantage software system, powered by the ZFI engine, and was showcased at a joint event between CGF and The People Business. The event discussed the integration of governance, risk and compliance, and leadership coaching.
