GijimaAst announced as runner-up in Sake24 financial competition

[Johannesburg, 17 November 2008] - JSE-listed ICT provider GijimaAst has been named as a runner-up for the month of July/August in the Sake24 Financial Reporting Competition.

The competition, which is open to all companies who publish their financial results in the financial press, recognises achievements in the financial advertising industry and encourages the creative execution of essential business communications.

“The competition recognises agencies and clients who have taken added measures in terms of reporting their results,” says Thoko Mnyango, Managing Executive: Marketing, Communications and Transformation at GijimaAst. “It also rewards companies who pride themselves on corporate governance, transparency of dealings and open communication with shareholders and stakeholders and this is where we feel GijimaAst has shone.”
