Founded in 1998, Comprehend IT
(CIT) delivers inspired technical solutions to
business problems. CIT has branches in Cape Town and
Johannesburg, with a core of top engineers and more
than 20 developers. We have clients on three
continents, with work being done in Dubai, Brazil
and Australia, and remotely develop and support a
number of solutions in these countries.
As businesses need systems that will meet their
requirements of improving efficiency or giving them
a competitive edge, we ensure that our solutions are
appropriately focused and deliver on the core client
requirements. However, as our expertise lies as much
with the technology, as the ability to analyze and
improve business processes, we ensure that the

CIT has broad experience in delivering best of breed
mobile and web based solutions. In this modern age
of freedom of movement, we have delivered a number
of leading applications in the Windows mobile and
Java environment, and count a number of the large
corporate clients in South Africa amongst our mobile
clients. We have exceptional experience in dealing
with business specific mobile solutions. While not
bound to technology, we are experts at SQL, .Net,
Windows Mobile and related tools. We have strong
Java skills, having created mobile apps on phones
using both Java and Microsoft Mobile 5 +6 over the
last few years, and have a passion of understanding
new technologies and how this will benefit our
current and future clients.
