[Johannesburg, 23 November 2011] - * Researchers leverage expertise and technology from Dell/Cambridge University HPC Solution Centre to help solve some of the world's most challenging issues.

* Council for Scientific and Industrial Research in South Africa, Cambridge University, Eclipse Holdings and Dell together expand on the Centre of High Performance Computing (CHPC) in South Africa's existing infrastructure to build most powerful supercomputer in Africa.

* Dell expands access to computing for researchers around the world through ongoing high performance computing technology transfer and development with Cambridge University and the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research in South Africa.
