FinSwitch introduces new Web services
[Johannesburg, 10 September 2009] -
FinSwitch, which was set up nearly 10 years ago specifically to drive the design, development, implementation and administration of an electronic trading bureau for the trading of unit trust funds in South Africa, has launched new Web services through the FinSwitch2 platform.The new Web services allow for secure data exchanges between linked investment service providers (LISPs) and unit trust management companies (ManCos), with the added benefit of high levels of process automation.Allan Gray, a long-time user of the FinSwitch platform, is the first company to use these services as part of its new order management system. Allan Gray Investment Services, the LISP, and Allan Gray Management Company, the ManCo, now process collective investment orders via FinSwitch, using the new Web services provided by the FinSwitch2 platform.
