VB100 award for eScan for Linux Servers!

eScan, one of the leading anti-virus and security solution providers, has achieved Virus Bulletin Test Laboratory's prestigious 'VB100' award for its eScan for Linux Servers, its first award for the year 2012 for Linux. The test was conducted on Red Hat Enterprise Linux platform for its latest version 6.2.VB100% certifications are among the most widely recognised certifications within the industry that focus on virus detection rates, scanning speeds, as well as looking at how each product fares, when scanning set files that are known to be clean.Test sets were based on the November 2011 WildLists (Standard and Extended). On eScan's certification, Virus Bulletin editor Helen Martin commented: “With eScan's simple installation process, operation was fairly simple and logical, with clear documentation. In addition to zero false positives, detection scores were good, with the RAP sets particularly well handled.
