Experian, the global information services company, today launched Experian CheetahMail, in South Africa.
Experian CheetahMail will enable businesses across the country to create and deploy highly targeted and relevant e-mail communications that generate the maximum return on investment.
Experian CheetahMail is the world's largest permission-based e-mail marketing provider, with principal operations in the key markets of the US, the UK, France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, as well as Asia Pacific. The decision to launch the service in South Africa was in response to rising demand from the country's leading brands for more sophisticated and personalised digital marketing capabilities.
Steve Lomax, Managing Director of Experian CheetahMail EMEA, said: “E-mail marketing is a cost-effective and measurable way of communicating with customers, but as the volume of e-mail traffic increases, marketers must deliver relevant, targeted and timely communications in order to stand out in a crowded inbox. We are looking forward to working with organisations in South Africa to enhance the effectiveness of their permission-based e-mail marketing campaigns; helping them to drive revenue and build long-term customer relationships.”
Kim Jenkins, Managing Director of Experian SA, added: “This new launch will expand the range of marketing services that we can offer our clients as they look to acquire, retain and grow their own customer bases. For domestic and international brands operating in South Africa, it will enable them to tap into Experian CheetahMail's global e-mail marketing expertise and resources.”
