Gartner names Informatica as leader in MDM report

Informatica Corporation, the world's number one independent leader in data integration software, has been positioned by Gartner in the leaders' quadrant in the 2011 Magic Quadrant for Master Data Management (MDM) of Customer Data Solutions report.The complete report, including the quadrant graphic, was published December 2011 and is available on the Informatica Web site at http://www.informatica.com/mdm_mq/.Gartner estimates that total software revenue for MDM solutions was $1.4 billion in 2010, an increase of 15% from 2009. Within those overall figures, it's estimated that the market for MDM of customer data solutions was $446 million in 2010, an increase of 23% from 2009. Gartner projects five-year compound annual growth rates (CAGRs) of nearly 20% for both the overall MDM and the MDM of customer data software markets through 2015.
