SA Agile solution launched Internationally

[Johannesburg, 16 May 2012] - According to Francois Retief, MD of Johannesburg-based MPS: "Clients have been asking us for a fully-fledged Agile solution based on the Sciforma Project and Portfolio Management system. We are happy to announce that this is now available. We spoke to a number of users and experts using Agile and looked at the latest trends before starting development. The result is a really easy to use, functional and attractive Agile solution, which has now been implemented in a number of sites in South Africa."

"The Sciforma S4 PPM system is the ideal platform due to its amazing flexibility," says Retief. "We were able to fully configure the screens, graphs, workflow, etc, to produce an Agile solution with some unique features, such as the ability to run a mixture of Agile and Waterfall projects in the same system and the ability to totally customise the Agile experience."

"It has become apparent that many organisations need a combination of the Agile methodology and the traditional Waterfall approach," says Retief. "Agile is not suitable for all types of projects. Also, some PMs feel more comfortable with the Waterfall approach.”
