PDC, Printronix offer support for InfoPrint Industrial Solutions products

Printronix the worldwide leader in business-critical printing solutions, today announced it is offering its comprehensive range of printers, consumables, services and support to meet the continuing customer needs for InfoPrint Industrial products, effective immediately.This move comes as InfoPrint Solutions, a division of Ricoh Product Print Solutions, ended the sale and marketing of its industrial printers, effective 30 December 2011, to focus on high-volume publishing print systems.Printronix has supplied more than 100 000 industrial printers to InfoPrint customers over the past two decades as the exclusive OEM supplier for all InfoPrint thermal and line matrix printers. InfoPrint customers and partners will receive equal or higher levels of quality and reliability with the Printronix-branded products, which are 100% compatible with InfoPrint offerings, including IPDS, which provides an attachment-independent interface for controlling and managing all points addressable (APA) printers.
