[Johannesburg, 24 March 2009] - FNB, Lenovo and IT reseller Technology Corporate Management (TCM) have partnered to illustrate that going green is a concept requiring implementation at all levels to ensure maximum effect and sustainability.

With environmental issues such as climate change and fuel shortages being highlighted as global crises, green solutions are fast becoming a way of life and no longer just a marketing tool.

FNB has already incorporated a number of green practices throughout various streams of operations, including a multimillion-rand investment in its latest office park in Fairlands, Johannesburg, which includes greening specifications such as solar powered heating systems, population density sensors to avoid power wastage and an air-conditioning system that is 32% more energy efficient than an average system.
