Affordable solution to reading long, truncated bar codes unveiled

[Johannesburg, 16 March 2012] - Many parts of the world are still faced with challenges of reading long and truncated bar codes. To lighten this task, iData Distribution, leading distributor of automated identification and mobile technologies for the reseller market in southern Africa, recently unveiled the Datalogic QuickScan Lite QW2100 linear imager.

“The QW2100 imager, the most recent addition to the value line general purpose handheld data collection products, was created specifically for reading long and truncated bar codes, which is very common in most areas of the world. It is ideal for use in retail, light manufacturing, document/bill processing and banking environments.
