Local company Drive Control Corporation (DCC) has added Dell's commercial Optiplex desktop offering and Latitude notebook range to its channel. The move will see DCC take responsibility for Dell's entire PC and notebook range.

"Often, competitive products do better in the marketplace due to their high availability. Now, however, our resellers can rest assured that Dell's commercial product offering is immediately available, which will be an important differentiator in a competitive marketplace," comments Mandy Porter, Dell business unit manager at DCC.

"We also believe the appointment is indicative of the success we've had with Dell's SME and consumer-focused products. With the commercial range we now offer the full complement of Dell desktops and notebooks, which allows us to extend our reach," she adds.

According to Sandra Roussos, field marketing manager, Dell Southern Africa: "Dell is pleased to extend its partnership with DCC with the introduction of the OptiPlex desktops and Latitude notebook range to DCC's Dell product offering. As a valuable partner, the next step for us was to grow our product offering through DCC.

“Over the past year, DCC has proven itself to be an asset to our company and a formidable partner, to be the face of Dell to our clients," she concludes.
