IBM solidifies BPM position

IBM took a multi-pronged approach in early October to solidifying its position in the business process management market by releasing an assortment of new software and professional services, says SD Times.

IBM introduced Business Space, a role-based desktop environment for monitoring business processes, combined with application content and collaborative tools.

Business Space is intended to help break down the barrier between IT and business operations, said Steven Worrall, IBM VP of WebSphere sales.

Responsive Solutions releases Interface+

Responsive Solutions, creator of Customer+, a Web-to-print system, is offering extensive customisation and workflow automation capabilities with the release of Interface+ and new object-oriented architecture, states Graphic Repro.

Service providers seeking to leverage the Adobe InDesign Server composition engine with flexibility and control over workflow and customer experience, will now be able to purpose-build commercial sites, and tailor the solution to their client's unique business processes.
