Trustlink today announced its partnership with Actiance, a global leader in communication, collaboration, and social media governance for the enterprise.
Actiance provides solutions which enable organisations to use the multiple communication and social networking applications they need with the regulatory, legal, and corporate compliance they require.
Its platform provides a foundation which integrates with the business' existing infrastructure and can be built on in order to let organisations unleash social business with peace of mind.
"Trustlink's value proposition has evolved naturally over the years based on our understanding of our customers' business and requirements. Where we see a need in the information exchange and integration area of a business we find a best-of-breed product to meet that need. In the face of rapidly transforming technology and people's demand for it, businesses find that they are making use of multiple collaborative technology platforms. The Actiance products provide them with governance tools which address the business need to securely manage communication channels and social media channels. We believe that Actiance is a perfect addition to the Trustlink offering and we look forward to growing their footprint in Africa," says Tertius Vermeulen, CEO of Trustlink.
Bertus Homan, Executive Manager, Sales at Trustlink, agrees this need exists in a market where people and businesses need the speed and access provided by the multiple methods of communication and multiple social media platforms, but also the ability to regulate and manage these rapidly changing technologies. "Trustlink's solutions conform to the highest standards of governance and security as laid down and enforced by various international agencies. Through Actiance, we are now able to offer our customers the same levels of compliancy and governance in the world of social business and social media. We see this as a logical extension to our offerings and provides for a more complete solutions set for our customers."
Actiance believes the partnership with the Pretoria-based Trustlink will give it access to a growing market in Africa, which has embraced the concept of social technology and is growing with it. "Through this partnership with Trustlink, Actiance can extend its presence into Sub-Saharan Africa in support of its expansion plans. The partnership will provide the market with a comprehensive governance platform for the various communication, collaboration, and social media uses in the enterprise," said Andy Holmes, Sales Director of International for Actiance.
"Actiance has taken a strategic view of the needs of regulated and heavily litigated industry sectors and have developed solutions that will enable the compliance, security and management requirements for the financial services, pharmaceutical, healthcare and energy industry sectors.
"Trustlink is well positioned in this territory and industry sectors to deliver these solutions at optimal value for our customers."
