BT Limited South Africa upgrades to Pastel Evolution

Johannesburg, 07 Sept 2006

BT Limited South Africa has upgraded its internal accounting system and now enjoys the benefits of Pastel Evolution`s business management functionality.

Joanne Shields, BT Finance Manager, MEA, says over the last two years, BT`s business in South Africa has grown tremendously.

"We therefore needed a product that would provide better financial integration with customer relationship management (CRM) capabilities. Within months of using Evolution, we`re very happy with the results," she says.

Mohammed Mosam, Director of Pastel Evolution, says BT is using modules like Resolve to track interactions with customers and create workflows, and add-on modules such as Fixed Assets and Job Costing to manage the various hardware project implementations. The Business Intelligence Centre also gives BT the ability to analyse key information within its business.

"Given the growth in BT`s business and the fact that it is an international company, Pastel Evolution is the ideal product to take BT beyond accounting software to enjoy the benefits of true business management software," he says.
