When it comes to your kitchen, there's no substitute for freshness. That's why you'll love Hisense's new Cross Door fridge series: it not only maintains food at peak crisp condition; it's also at the cutting edge of technology and design.

That's not surprising, given that Hisense has been keeping kitchens fresh across the globe for years. As a breakthrough newcomer to the market, the brand is all about innovative concepts that enhance South African lifestyles. However, it has also been around long enough for consumers to learn that it is as trustworthy and reliable as older players.

It's also known to be more affordable than other electronics brands. In fact, the Cross Door series retails for up to R20 000 less than comparative products from competitor brands! It's all part of Hisense's philosophy, which hinges on making the latest technology accessible to all consumers.

In spite of this attractive price tag, the Cross Door series boasts a range of impressive features. For example, fridges are able to store individual groceries at optimal temperatures, thanks to an integrated twin cooling system - so, if grapes need to be stored at a lower temperatures than, say, butter in order to retain their freshness, it's done. The twin cooling system also maintains ideal temperature and humidity for the cooling and freezing compartments. In this way, the compartments are kept safe from nasty odours.

The series' design also merits a mention: modern and minimalist, the fridges look good in any kitchen. Recessed handles are just one of the design features that make them worth a second glance, while adding to their user friendliness. An LED touch screen serves as a control panel and, based on intuitive design, makes using the fridge a simple and fuss-free process.

Energy saving credentials are impressive, too: the fridges have been fitted with energy efficient LED diode lamps that provide superior interior illumination without contributing significantly to your carbon footprint.

The Cross Door series is available in two models: the H620FI, available in inox from Pick n Pay, Hirch's Homestores and Makro (from August), and the H560FWHG, available in white from www.makro.co.za and Hirch's Homestores.

Of course, Hisense has been keeping it fresh long before the introduction of the Cross Door series. Other top-selling models in the brand's premier refrigeration range include the Side-by-side, French door, fatty combi and mirror door fridges, all known for their innovation and affordability.

Chefs insist that even the most scrumptious recipe will fall short if the freshness of the ingredients isn't up to scratch. We're sure you'll agree - and so will everyone who notices the difference Hisense makes to their quality of life.
