Nintex receives two first-place wins in 2018 Office App Awards

Johannesburg, 10 Oct 2018

At the recent Microsoft Ignite conference, hosted from 25-28 September in Orlando, Florida, Microsoft presented Nintex with two 2018 Office App Awards, recognising the business value and overall impact of Nintex for Office 365.

Nintex received 'Best Overall App' first place honours for Nintex Workflow for Office 365, and Nintex Forms for Office 365 received first place in Microsoft's category for Most Business Value.

"We enjoy a rich history of helping our partners and customers turn manual and paper-based processes into efficient digital workflows and forms within Office 365 and across the Microsoft stack," shares Nintex CEO Eric Johnson. "We appreciate Microsoft in helping us to deliver continued innovation through our Nintex Platform."

'Best Overall App': Nintex Workflow for Office 365

Nintex Workflow for Office 365 allows customers to get the most out of their Office 365 subscription by integrating workflows into the entitlements they already own. Nintex recently celebrated the five-year anniversary of Nintex for Office 365 and organisations have executed more than 105 million workflows on Office 365 with Nintex.

For example, International Executive Service Corps (IESC) uses Nintex Workflow for Office 365 to improve its productivity and extend the value of its Office 365 investment. The organisation struggled to build sufficient workflows and forms for invoice approvals, contract management, and more with SharePoint alone. Since migrating to Nintex for Office 365, the organisation has seen a 350% increase in productivity and an 80% reduction in approval time.

'Most Business Value': Nintex Forms for Office 365

Organisations worldwide rely on Nintex Forms for Office 365 to improve how work gets done. In the past two years alone, Nintex Forms for Office 365 has seen over 50 million form submissions. This allows employees to spend time on delivering great customer experiences, driving innovation, and investing in activities that impact the bottom line.

Nintex customer Northumbrian Water, a Northeastern UK utility provider, used Nintex Forms for Office 365 to digitise its field reporting. Previously, the organisation's field workers tracked chemical-tank status with spreadsheets and paper forms that were manually routed back to databases, weren't searchable, and were difficult to analyse.

Now with Nintex Forms for Office 365, tank conditions are recorded accurately and the surveys are routed promptly to a SharePoint Online database, which enables business analysts to spot issues and address them more quickly than ever before.
