Gartner UK chooses NetSupport Manager

Gartner UK has selected remote management tool NetSupport Manager to centralise remote support to its UK offices. This means that IT staff can now deal with end-user problems from a central location and use NetSupport`s powerful scripting tool to conduct overnight server maintenance.

"It is gratifying that our product is used by such an esteemed organisation as Gartner, which makes it its business to search out the best of breed," said Tito Pereira, Managing Director of Blue Label Technology, distributor of NetSupport products in SA.

NetSupport Manager enables network administrators and support staff to access and address any problems on users` computers in real-time, without leaving their desks. Problems are sorted in about a third of the time usually taken, resulting in an increase in efficiency. Productivity is boosted as technicians can attend to more problems faster, reducing unnecessary downtime.

"NetSupport Manager 8 is able to slash any company`s conventional support costs by an average of 57%. This saving dramatically improves a business`s bottom line," Pereira says.

Other products in the NetSupport suite are NetSupport School, a remote training tool and NetSupport TCO, an asset management product.
