HP offers video collaboration

HP has announced a service enabling HP Halo customers to use their telepresence endpoints to reach thousands of people, including employees, partners and suppliers, at one time, says WebWire.

HP Halo Webcasting expands the HP Unified Communications and Collaboration portfolio, giving customers greater choice in implementing solutions that meet their global communication needs.

HP has also realigned the HP Halo business within the HP ProCurve networking business, which is part of the company's enterprise-focused Technology Solutions Group responsible for servers, storage, software, networking and services.

Xerox unveils multifunction printers

Xerox has unveiled WorkCentre 3210 and 3220, two black-and-white multifunction printers combining printing, copying, scanning and faxing into one device, states CBR Online.

The new printers feature a 360MHz processor, 128MB of memory and USB port. The new printers can scan directly to or print from a USB memory drive.

The company said the WorkCentre 3210 and 3220 can print at speeds of up to 24 pages per minute (ppm) and 30ppm, respectively, offer 1200 x 1200 dpi image quality and a paper capacity of up to 500 sheets to mange office print jobs.
