"All of these new capabilities will be available as part of the Sugar open cloud, and are available to the SugarCRM community to test in beta."

The company followed its SME announcement with similar news about upgraded unified communications and video features for the mid-to-large tier customers on its HiPath 4000.

Siemen's OpenScape Office UC application suite, now delivered on its HiPath 3000, comes with presence-enabled contact centre features.

Envision Telephony releases InteractionIQ

Envision Telephony, a provider of workforce optimisation (WFO) solutions for the contact centre and enterprise, announced the immediate availability of Envision InteractionIQ, a right-sized speech analytics solution that the company stated simplifies the processing, search and reporting of speech data from within audio recordings, reports TMCnet.

With Envision InteractionIQ, the company said contact centre and enterprise management can now incorporate speech data into the WFO analysis equation to more effectively meet specific agent, centre and business performance objectives.

"Envision InteractionIQ breaks down the barriers for contact centres that have not yet been able to take advantage of speech analytics technology," says Keith Dawson, principal analyst with Frost & Sullivan.
