Blue Pencil personal and consulting services

Johannesburg, 23 Apr 2018

Blue Pencil Professional Resource Services has been servicing the consulting market for the past 14 years, bringing skilled consultants and customers together for ad-hoc, SAP projects or permanent placements across various industries.

As the economy shifts and the need for the right skill at the right time is critical, Blue Pencil has been able to tap into their database of reliable skilled consultants to meet the needs and expectations of their growing client base.

"We've been in the staff augmentation business from when the company was formed and although the need is there for experienced consultants, we have seen a subtle shift to assist companies to source younger and more junior staff," said Managing Director Graham Henderson.

This shift is an important trend as it supports the drive to create employment in South Africa and give first-time job seekers their first chance at gainful employment, whether through graduate placements or longer staff augmention engagements, he continued.

"Our permanent team of creative designers and SAP Solution Manager consultants are used to assist with the vetting as well as support the graduates in the new roles.

"Blue Pencil's maturity in the market and being a Level 3 BBBEE contributor has allowed it to extend its offerings to provide payroll, invoicing, and administration services for independent contractors as well as small- to medium-sized enterprises.

"Our strong roots in the SAP industry allows us to leverage our vendor status across a large segment of the South African corporate landscape and create a platform for independent consultants who need to engage with larger entities, but don't have the time or facilities to manage the associated administration and billing," he concluded.
