Kerio Technologies introduces new network security hardware for small businesses

New hardware addresses all-in-one network security for small businesses across Africa.

Today Kerio Technologies announced the launches the Kerio Control Box NG100. The hardware is an addition to its Kerio Control range, and addresses the security needs of smaller businesses, protecting networks of approximately 10 users.

"Small businesses are attractive targets for hackers as they often have less security than larger organisations," comments Henk Olivier from Kerio Africa distributor, Ozone. "The Kerio Control Box NG100 will provide these small businesses with easy and affordable protection."

The Kerio Control Box NG100 is a small and full-featured Unified Threat Management solution. It includes comprehensive firewall and router, intrusion detection and prevention (IPS), gateway antivirus, VPN and content filtering.

Designed for smaller businesses with employees that are office-based or working remotely, the new appliance keeps the network, users and assets safe and secure, plus it contributes directly to employee productivity. The Kerio Control Box NG100 can be securely monitored and accessed anytime, from any device, through Kerio's cloud-based centralised management MyKerio dashboard.

The Kerio Control Box NG100 is R9 999. Annual software maintenance is R2 500. Extended warranties start from R1 330.
