MAXIMO to become Thlokomelo`s core business system for facility management, building services at Gateway Shoppertainment World

MST (Maintenance System Technologies) the Pretoria-based Enterprise Asset Management solutions provider, has announced that Thlokomelo Management has selected MAXIMO for all its facilities management and building services at the Gateway Shopping Complex in Umhlanga Rocks. This agreement was signed in MST`s current quarter.

Gateway Theatre of Shopping, Old Mutual Properties` R1.4 billion retail and leisure shopping complex, is the largest complex of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. The sheer scale of the shopping complex makes it one of the largest development initiatives in SA, says Colin Devenish from Old Mutual Properties.

Thlokomelo Management is a leading facilities management company for several corporate clients including Old Mutual. Mauritz Meyer, MD of Thlokomelo, commented that before selecting MAXIMO, Thlokomelo extensively evaluated the market, and searched for a solution that could be provided via a centralised hosting model. The solution also needed to support Thlokomelo`s requirement of being a core-business system that can offer value-added services and manage complex service contracts.

MAXIMO will act as Thlokomelo`s core-business platform for the operational management of facilities and building services, and will be the demand driver and e-procurement solution for online purchasing of maintenance and service items.
