Qlik highest ranked visual analytics vendor in new BARC BI Score 2015 report

Qlik portfolio capabilities and market execution make it a trendsetter.

Qlik (NASDAQ: QLIK), a leader in visual analytics, announced it has been positioned by Business Application Research Center (BARC) as a trendsetter in its BARC Business Intelligence Score 2015 report.

The BARC BI Score 2015 report is the inaugural edition and serves to evaluate and rank the top vendors in the business intelligence platform market. Vendors were evaluated based on portfolio capabilities for reporting, dash-boarding, ad-hoc queries, analysis, data mining, architecture, and product satisfaction.

Other factors considered included market execution on product, sales and marketing strategy, organisational strength, financials, geographical coverage, vertical solutions, ecosystem, and customer support. Qlik was also ranked in the recent BARC BI Survey 14 as number one in customer satisfaction, performance satisfaction, product satisfaction, and considered for purchase categories among large international BI vendors.

According to the report, Qlik's strength lies in its business-oriented platform. which addresses users' needs spanning reporting and dash-boarding to analysis and application creation. The report also states that Qlik users benefit from its associative engine, responsive in-memory processing and fast implementation and application modification. Qlik was commended by BARC for the visual appeal of the Qlik platform based on its formatting and charting features.
