Experts to share free insights on modernising process-centric solutions

Johannesburg, 18 Jan 2016

On 5 February 2016, business transformation solutions provider, Ovations, will be hosting an event where experts from Nedbank, IBM South Africa and Ovations will be presenting insights on innovative ways to modernise process-centric solutions in business.

"The future leaders of current volatile markets will differentiate themselves by combining people, processes and technology in new innovative ways, focusing on customer-centric solutions to service customers, how and when they want," says Peter Robb, Associate Director at Ovations. "In developing ways to achieve this, organisations need to learn from each other's successes and failures, which is why we decided to host an event where we could engage in these types of discussions."

The speakers at the event will provide attendees with advice on how to keep up with compliance process changes and related fines, maintain strong bonds with customers and gain customer loyalty as well as better control and plan around disruptive technologies that require constant innovation and investment, all based on their own experiences.

Speakers will include Sewis van Wyk, Enterprise Architecture Executive at Nedbank; and Krinesan Govender, IBM Systems Middleware Lead at IBM South Africa. Govender will speak about using the modern technical ecosystem to enable innovation, as well as practical case studies on how the combination of these enablers add value. Van Wyk will be discussing the value gained by creating a centralised business process capability (Centre of Excellence) from a technical and business perspective along with insight into the future of innovation, leveraging the smarter process concept.

Ruan Venter, Process Automation Lead at Ovations; and Ernst Dill, Process Engineering Lead at Ovations, will also be hosting interactive breakaway sessions in which they will speak about building an effective Business Process Centre of Excellence. In addition, they will discuss essential components and practices required from a technical perspective and business perspective.

"I urge customers to join us and our panel of experts, who will be sharing their own experiences in implementing enterprise-scale business process capabilities. We will also be taking a practical deep-dive into the art and science of modernising the people, process and technology trifecta using Centres of Excellence," says Robb.

The event will be held from 8:30am for 9am until 1pm at the JSE Atrium in Sandown, but parking will be at 24 Central Parking, Gwen Lane, Sandown. There will be refreshments provided as well as a networking lunch. Attendance is free but seats are limited, and those that wish to attend will need to reserve their seats by 25 January 2016.
