Standard Bank experiencing digital system issues

Standard Bank customers are using social media to voice their frustrations following network failure with the bank's digital systems, which is also affecting business.

Responding to customer complaints, Standard Bank confirmed that it has been experiencing issues with its Internet banking and mobile app channels since this morning.

Although the bank would not say what the issue is, it noted that the problem has been identified.

According Standard Bank, its IT team is currently working to resolve the issue.

"Our IT team are working to resolve it and we will post a message once all systems are operational. We do apologise for the inconvenience caused," said Standard Bank via Twitter.
