Blue Turtle Technologies has announced the local availability of the new release of BMC Software's Control-M workload management solution, providing customers with support for cloud, DevOps and big data workloads.
Control-M 19 is the latest release. It operates across AWS, Azure and GCP, as well as Hybrid and traditional on-premises environments, giving customers a single way of managing their workloads and central visibility and control.
"The cloud is playing an ever-increasing role in digital services, with customers looking to migrate workloads and build new in the cloud. We are enabling this journey with Control-M's advanced automation and orchestration software," says Simon Shaw, business manager at Blue Turtle. "BMC has used its on-premises experience with the market-leading Control-M software to bring advanced workload automation to cloud services."
Control-M 19 supports and integrates with key cloud services, including AWS Lambda, step functions and batch, and Azure Logic apps and functions.
"It is the perfect fit for customers looking to make use of the cloud or move specific workloads into the cloud," adds Shaw. "With this release Blue Turtle will be able to help customers orchestrate their workflows on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud."
According to Shaw, the real power of the solution is its easy integration into all cloud environments with a single user interface, and its job-as-code functionality, which allows developers to accelerate the DevOps life cycle, translating into quicker delivery of applications, and improved production service operation.
"In the more than 16 years we have been in partnership with BMC, we have established the most experienced team in Africa, allowing us to deliver world-class Control-M implementations. This positions us well to assist customers with on-premises, cloud and hybrid workload management," says Shaw.
"As a platinum partner, we also have access to an international pool of Control-M specialists, providing customers with the peace of mind needed when selecting a digital transformation partner."
