Digica appoints GM

Digica has extended its investments in SA by appointing Frikkie Grobler as GM, ICTWorld reports.

He joins the local operation to lead the roll-out of the Digica Transformational IT Outsourcing Services Model throughout the region.

"We wanted to integrate the operations of Digica in the UK, SA and the USA to ensure we could deliver services seamlessly from the most appropriate geography and take advantage of local economic conditions and the availability of skills in SA to service customers across the Digica Group," says Digica Group CEO, Mark Howling.

Symantec appoints VP

Symantec announced the appointment of John Brigden as senior VP, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In this role Brigden will lead all sales, operations, and business development across the EMEA region.

Brigden succeeds Lindsey Armstrong, who will leave following a short transition period, Moneyweb reports.

"John brings a unique perspective on a rapidly evolving business and IT compliance landscape and strong leadership and management skills to the EMEA region," said Tom Kendra, executive VP, worldwide sales and services, Symantec.
