FlowCentric Technologies, a leading developer of agile business process management (BPM) solutions into Africa and internationally, has launched the 10th version of FlowCentric Processware 2013. This feature-rich BPM platform sports even more business functionality than before.

Developed for desired flexibility, FlowCentric Processware 2013 integrates with the array of typical business and operational systems utilised in the organisation. The system is easily customised to align with customer-specific process requirements and KPIs - effectively closing the gap between people, processes and technology infrastructures.

The new version has been designed to dramatically bolster the end-user experience, with process orchestration and information relating to user-specific tasks aggregated into a single view. This ensures less cognitive overhead for users in navigating the system, and accessing actions that are relevant to them - from tasks, processes and forms to reports, authorisations and tracking.

The new version also boasts optimised search capability, empowering users to find processes and related documents easily, and dramatically improving productivity. Integrated with Microsoft Outlook, users work seamlessly within an environment with which they are familiar.

FlowCentric Processware is 64-bit ready, enabling faster processing speeds and enhanced redundancy. To support companies' mobile ambitions, and the prolific and speedy adoption of bring your own device (BYOD), Processware 2013 is fully-enabled for mobile, bringing most of the functionality, information, and control available on desktops to mobile devices.

The solution is supported on all major smartphones, including iPhone, Android, the Microsoft Phone Platform, and BlackBerry HTML5-based. The new mobile client is compatible with any mobile device capable of rendering HTML5 pages, and presents information relevant to specific users in easy to navigate views.

A key enhancement of Processware 2013 is the Model View Controller (MVC), an architectural logic used in software engineering to isolate the application logic from the user interface, allowing for optimal deployment, redundancy and greater adoption through a user-familiar interface.

"Using the Microsoft MVC 4 technology, we have split the front-end from the back-end, while allowing for multiple front-ends, to provide more agile development, better security, shorter release cycles and greater redundancy," says Jacques Wessels, the company's CEO.

The flexibility and ease of customisation of FlowCentric Processware 2013 demonstrates FlowCentric Technologies' focus on delivering value across the channel community. While aligning the solution closer to the user, the FlowCentric team has also ensured the system can be easily modelled to company requirements and rapidly deployed, and allowing partners to quickly extend value to their customers.

"With Processware 2013, companies can drive performance by automating processes, standardising best practices and encouraging swift user acceptance. While ensuring compliance with evolving legislative requirements, the system can help companies improve service delivery and control costs.

"Processware 2013 is modelled on market demand, based on feedback from industry experts, and the very people who use our system. This is key to ensuring that FlowCentric Processware continues to deliver value as an enabling business tool that not only empowers companies with greater control over people and processes, but also extends the life and functionality of other key systems used within organisations, enabling them to derive higher returns on their investment in technology," concludes Wessels.
