Ursula Fear likes to refer to herself as a talent activist. She is a seasoned professional that has focused on L&D, talent and human capital solutions in South Africa for more than 20 years. She played a significant role in spearheading the design of ERP qualifications and has also built and designed award-winning development interventions.

Ursula served as a Human Capital Partner at Deloitte, where she was also the first woman to sit on the consulting exco overseeing their talent portfolio. Additionally, she was also involved in the establishment and strategy designs of an NGO called TEACH South Africa – a private sector led initiative into the education sector. Ursula was instrumental in assisting with the build of a collaborative social platform called ‘Talent Talks’ aimed at driving talent collaboration and knowledge sharing between corporate South Africa. In 2017, she participated as the only African on a pilot programme (Certificate: International Masterclass Learning & Development Leadership) at Nyenrode Business Universiteit (Amsterdam, Netherlands). Her last role was an executive at Adcorp where she was responsible for four training businesses.
