Passionate about research demonstrated through several publications in his personal capacity, Mboungou Mouyabi Seke (Jordan) is a cloud computing advocate and evangelist. He is a part-time MBA candidate at the Wits Business School, in Johannesburg, where he completed his PDBA and serves as a constituent relationship management (CRM) officer within the University of the Witwatersrand, in Johannesburg. Cited in many scholarly works, including masters’ and Phd theses, he has presented papers at conferences locally and internationally.

Seke’s research interests focus on Africa as a continent in dire need of development and technological awareness, also including cloud computing, disruptive and opportunistic trends of technology in higher education, e‐learning, m‐learning, innovation and the digital clash of civilisation.

Seke holds a post-graduate diploma in business administration from Wits, a diploma in IT programming, and several certificates, including a professional certificate in business analysis. He holds an engineering degree in biomedical maintenance from the Tertiary Institute of Applied Techniques of Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, since 2004, and his dissertation was titled: “The Establishment of Maintenance Policy in Hospitals of Developing Countries: Case of the Central Hospital of the Army Pierre Mobengo of Brazzaville – Republic of Congo”.

Any organisation functioning in today's competitive, agile and challenging business environment needs to extend their technological capabilities and mobile application usage – they do this using cloud services. Cloud services are accessible to a large audience and I will address the benefit of empowering this audience by democratising cloud computing.
