Russell’s formal training career began back in 2009, when he became an accredited trainer for KPMG, and he still isn’t done yet! He has trained large banks, consultancies and other organisations in the areas of privacy and information security, and is an accredited trainer under ISO standards for the Canadian-based Professional Education and Certification Board (PECB).
Besides his technical specialities in the areas of privacy, data protection and information risk management, he also enjoys building young minds and developing the leaders of tomorrow, and is an accomplished speaker, facilitator and trainer.
He believes that education is a fundamental building block for driving change and that a collaborative approach to privacy and information security is the only way to succeed, which is why he is thrilled to be able to impart some of his knowledge to those attending this ITWeb event.
