Herman Young is an Information and Cyber Security leader with three decades of experience in both offensive and defensive disciplines, across a wide variety of industries. He leverages this experience in his current role as Group CISO for Investec, where he is accountable for crafting and and executing the Cyber and Information Security strategy across the group.Herman is also a regular speaker at local and international conferences, serves as a strategic advisor to a few niche startups and is actively involved in threat intelligence sharing initiatives across Africa, the Middle East and Europe.He is passionate about the threats and opportunities presented by exponential technologies in future and crafting strategies on how to both mitigate the risks and leverage the potential.
