ASUS breaks record with 26 wins at Red Dot Design Awards 2020

ASUS today received a total of 26 prestigious Red Dot Awards 2020 for outstanding product design, setting yet another new company record for the number of Red Dot Awards won in a single year. The awards highlight the company's continued commitment to providing incredible customer experiences through continuous innovation and exceptional product design.

The Red Dot Award: Product Design is one of the world’s largest design competitions. In 2020, designers and manufacturers from 60 countries entered more than 6 500 products in the competition. For more than 60 years, a renowned international jury of experts from a spectrum disciplines has convened annually to select the best designs in a rigorous adjudication process that spans several days and focuses on criteria such as the level of innovation, functionality, formal quality, longevity and ergonomics.

ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo UX581 and ZenBook Duo UX481

ZenBook Pro Duo UX581 is a groundbreaking 15.6-inch laptop with a 4K UHD OLED display and 14-inch full-width 4K ScreenPad Plus secondary touchscreen for endless creative possibilities. The ultraportable 14-inch ZenBook Duo UX481 features the same great ScreenPad Plus features as its larger sibling, but in a lighter and smaller chassis.

ASUS ZenBook UX325/UX425

ASUS ZenBook Flip UX463/UX563

The solidly engineered ASUS ZenBook Flip UX463 and UX563 have the smallest footprints in their respective classes. UX563 has a PANTONE Validated display with exceptional colour accuracy, with active-stylus support for daily computing or professional editing. The frameless keyboard includes a camera privacy switch. The ZenBook Flip series also undergoes military-grade testing to ensure reliability even in extreme environments.

ASUS VivoBook Flip TM420

ASUS VivoBook Flip TM420 is a slim convertible laptop designed for Generation Z. A magnetic stylus holder is included, and TM420 can be specified with various CPU options. The laptop has an easy-access design so users can easily upgrade its memory and SSD.

ASUS X571

The ASUS X571 15-inch laptop caters to users looking for a high-performance laptop for work or play. A V-shaped cut at the back of the lid and cleverly designed vents at the rear of the laptop enable better heat removal, and give the laptop a futuristic look. The lid is created via an eco-friendly in-mold roller technique.

ASUS E210/E410

ASUS E210/E410 is a compact and lightweight laptop designed for daily computing, featuring the unique ASUS NumberPad and a durable 180° hinge for outstanding versatility. The stylish classic design has mass appeal, and the ASUS logo has been deconstructed, with the letters spread across the lid to create an elegant and balanced look. In addition, eco-friendly mould-roller manufacturing techniques are used.

ASUS VivoBook and VivoBook S Series (S433/S533/X413/X513/K413/K513)

Targeted at Generation Z, the VivoBook and VivoBook S series were developed after intensive market research. VivoBook S was designed for those looking for a laptop that's compact, powerful and stylish. It has a minimalist design inspired by geometric shapes, resulting in a simple and elegant chassis with distinctive diamond-cut edges.

ASUS ProArt StudioBook One

ASUS ProArt StudioBook One is the first laptop to feature workstation grade NVIDIA Quadro RTX 6000 graphics. Unlike most laptops, StudioBook One has its CPU and GPU in the lid right behind the display. The Active Aerodynamic System (AAS) opens the outer cover of the lid by 4.57° to improve airflow to aid cooling.
