Armada Maritime Cyber Security Systems and Dynamic Recovery Services, a subsidiary of Cognosec, are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the first Maritime Cyber Security Conference, held on Wednesday, 20 June 2018 at the Piraeus Marine Club. The theme of the conference was "Maritime Cyber Security: Combating the challenges of the New Era for Safe Navigation".

The President of the Marine Club, Irene Daifa, introduced the conference, which was attended by the honourable Minister of Shipping and Island Policy Panagiotis Kouroumplis and the former General Secretary of Ministry of Shipping and Island Policy Dionyssios Charalampos Kalamatianos.

Participants at the conference were maritime companies, P&I clubs and classification societies, who were provided the opportunity to observe a presentation on advanced technological systems in maritime cyber security and to be informed about the advantages of the hosts' software application, both on shore and at sea, helping to fully secure against cyber attacks and malware software, and, as a result, ensuring safe navigation.
